Chris Smith, RHS Level 2 (ACIHort)

I have been designing, installing and maintaining gardens for over 10 years. Having studied with the University of Liverpool and the RHS, I am a qualified and experienced horticulturist with a wide knowledge of plants and a specific knowledge of coastal gardens. I am experienced in maintaining soil and overall plant health and diagnosing and treating a wide range of pests, problems and diseases. Working with a team of experienced gardeners, I am currently maintaining 30+ acres of gardens for a number of homes and businesses in the Wirral area. Environmentalism is important to me and I try to reflect this in my work. Where possible, I try to recycle, salvage and incorporate pre-existing materials and structures into my work. I always try to include pollinator-friendly and native species and I always aim to use locally sourced materials and plants where possible.

Testimonials

J. Henshaw - What an amazing service! Chris and co came on the day and time promised, which is refreshing. They cleared our whole garden, sorted out planting beds and cut back trees all in one day (it’s a big garden!). This would have taken us weeks to do. It was clear to us that Chris knows his stuff and is confident in giving advice and happy to help. The boys worked so hard and didn’t stop all day. I would highly recommend their service and we will be using them on a regular basis.

T. Kennedy -Chris has been helping us look after our garden since the summer. He's been fantastic, is very knowledgeable and is always accommodating to fit around us! Thanks Chris

J. Adams - I live in Edgewood Rd in Meols and Chris has been doing our garden for the past couple of years, I could not recommend him highly enough and have done to people and friends requiring garden maintenance. Chris is a very hard worker , knowledgeable and most important in my book he turns up when he says he will.
